We've had some beautiful fall days over the past few weeks that have been perfect for enjoying the Henry Avenue park. Until recently we never frequented this park, even though it was only a brief walk from our house, because frankly it was pretty sad. A dilapidated swing set. Some beaten up basket ball hoops. That was about it. But this summer the city got a grant to spiff up the park. They put in a fun new play structure, refurbished the swings, and planted some grass. Now it's one of our favorite places to play! It takes me nine minutes to walk there pushing both kids in a double stroller up a very steep hill with Moses shouting encouraging things like, "Let's keep going! I can see the swings." And my favorite, "No, Mommy! Don't stop to rest!"
