The Happiest Baby on the Block

I'm pretty confident that we do indeed have the happiest baby on the block.  And she is nowhere happier than when she's in mom and dad's bed (as she is in all my recent pictures of her, I just realized!)  Moses was getting some great laughs out of her by jumping into the air and whacking himself in the face with both hands.

Abigail had her four month appointment last week, and throughout the exam the pediatrician was musing to himself about having another baby.  It was quite humorous to overhear: "You are so cute!!  They say three is the new two... But Dr. Co is so tired!  But you are so cute!"

Her recent stats are as follows:

Two Months
Length: 23 inches (65th percentile)
Weight: 11 pounds, 9 ounces (49th percentile)

Four Months (They didn't give me the percentiles)
Length: 25 inches
Weight: 13 pounds, 12 ounces
Head circumference: 41 centimeters

Moses is his usual charming self.  His favorite phrases of late are "My do it ah me self" and "everyday".  He adds "everyday" to the end of many sentences.  For example, he'll walk up to me with a pair of scissors that he knows he's not supposed to have and chirp, "I use it everyday!".  Or he'll ask for cookies for breakfast and when I say no, he retorts, "I do it everyday!"  He also likes to inform me whenever Abigail is upset by saying compassionately, "Abigail crying!  Help her, please?"

Here are a few pictures of Moses from our recent picnic at Devereux Beach in Marblehead.  In the first photo, you'll see his official smile, the ideal he is shooting for whenever you take a picture of him.  As soon as I snapped the picture, he immediately assured me, "That was a good smile!"
